The Club des Sports of Chamonix is a non-profit association created under the 1901 French Law. It has several purposes and missions :
- To propose several sport practices to all the inhabitants of the Chamonix valley ; leisure, well-being and even competition.
- To allow competitors to reach the highest level: the Club des Sports counts more than 100 athletes in 16 sports on european and international levels.
- To organize numerous competitions, from local events to the biggest international events, which promote the image of Chamonix all over the world.
In order to reach its objectives, the Club des Sports can count on the support of the community of municipalities of Chamonix Mont-Blanc, the local authorities and its many partners.
